After so much rain today a beautiful sunny day, ideal for painting close to the sea.
On the coast near Anzio is a protected nature reserve where, among other things of interest are geological formations rich in sulfur and other minerals, very friable (the bee-eaters nest there) with colors and forms of great beauty.
In this watercolor I tried to respect the true colors, trying to reproduce the drippings on the sulfur-yellow and dark lines carved by the wind.
Behind the bare rock - low volcanic hills - covered with lush vegetation Meditterranean - create the ideal backdrop.
