In the soil below is easy to see the many holes dug by wild boar that still inhabit the woods, eating acorns. Too bad you do not understand precisely why these new spaces by birth YOUNG who claim to be seeking a new, feel the need to receive a sort of baptism by institutionalized organization and now the rusty mechanics of the system, which does not offer anything new for some time. Via Farini who feel the need / interest of "putting their hands" on them and suggesting that they lend themselves well to the "game" institutional lecture end ago any germ of goodness will have existed at first in them. It is expected to open spaces and freedom of this kind, and thus one can not expect to be instrumental spaces to artists who "manage" to override the drawing of a normal artistic training as soon as possible and get into the good graces of the "puppeteers "art (art critics and curators).

A comparison of this sort is certainly interesting, and it is important that there are still personality " promiscuous " (artists presenting other artists, who take care of a show, writing lyrics, and so on) to the direction these new realities. I emphasize the phrase because they often talk as if they were new a new creation in recent years, confessing, yet again, the error (fault?) Of the art system that seems to want "to ignorance" to produce intortabili ignorant and easily manipulated instead of making culture that generates thoughts, which in turn multiply thoughts (with eyes open and 360 °). Are not a new alternative (and thankfully all of that someone has wisely pointed out, see Cecilia Alemani) but I repeat, however, that they are welcome! Honestly though I can hardly look at these areas (especially to some) as a new and free, I think that is rather between the intentions there is a desire on the part of the artists themselves to be only self-promotion by offering nothing new, in fact maliciously thinking have guessed that before the real tangible difficulties of surviving as an artist today is easier to get space, offering space, rather than being an artist alone with their research work to gain visibility and opportunities, offering in exchange for "only" his own research.

But beyond these considerations of mine, I read with great pleasure Blog art-milano the post on this news (which had already piqued our interest) and declarations (though understandably so given partial) of the people involved and I hope that they really want to start seeing, reading, writing, speaking, creating art beyond the opportunities and conveniences. In short return to the search as needed! Being young should not be instinctive to do so? Instead of martens seem more cunning, more computers to one strategist. There is intellectual honesty in these spaces, non-profit? What drives them need? This I ask and it would be nice to know.

How Do I Clean Stone Bathroom Tiles
has closed recently in Venice, a beautiful exhibition dedicated to Zoran Music. The catalog opens with these words of the great and beloved artist was born in Gorizia in 1909: "I would like to be remembered as a gentle breeze." Thinking back to his mark very slight and yet so penetrating, along with friends with whom painters I visited the exhibition at Palazzo Franchetti, I made some drawings with mixed media. The design you see here comes from a free reworking of one of his portraits.

The first post on the blog of NIT-PICK is a critical synthesis that touches on the Italian competition for artists aged 18 to 35 years . Reality features of the last 15 years or so potential opportunities for young people not only in economic terms, that in Italy (in art as in other areas) are subject to manipulation by those who govern the system, for the benefit of themselves and of their intent to produce creative objects "artistic" easily sold or conform to current fashion.

One may ask: "Why so large a band that includes teens and twenties with zero chance of having a suitable curriculum?"
What need is there to hold contests when it is clear that most of the winners for the visual arts are filtered by Viafarini to Milan to Turin or Gai? They sound like names reported by the dome!
Since these winning artists have curriculum and support of well known Italian galleries, which they need to participate in competitions to participate "in qualified training programs, get real accolades foreign institutions or international experience to taking advantage of public money? They could not go with the "good earnings" of the sale of their works? There should already be trained? One would think that there are on the list of contests but not in the market.
